Ensemble BPM’s Three Tales, conducted by Nick Sutcliffe, played to sold-out houses at the Science Museum’s cavernous IMAX Theatre, which boasts a 408m² screen and 12,000 watts of digital surround sound.
Three Tales is a video opera by Pulitzer-prize winning composer Steve Reich and video artist Beryl Korot that examines man’s deepening relationship with technology.
Following BPM’s critically acclaimed production of Steve Reich and Beryl Korot’s Three Tales in 2010, BPM will become the first group to perform Louis Andriessen’s video opera since the London Sinfonietta’s UK premiere back in 2011.
